Adrenaline Rush

I could smell the cool winter air flowing through my nose, also the fear in my opponent as I aim the barrel toward his face. I heard a loud thump from his leap toward the haybell for cover, while my gun was blasting balls at him. As the balls whip through the air, I hear a scream for mercy that had pity, fear, and panic, all mixed together into a scream. Now its silent, nothing but the fierce icy wind cutting through me. Then I saw a man pop out from the woods on my right side with his finger on the trigger. Everthing happened in a blink of an eye, my teammate dropped to the ground, screaming as he gripped onto his arm. He was a red mess, I knew he would not go on anymore, I could see that we were vulnerable and he could see that too. A huge grin appeared on his face and the next thing I know, I was staring at the snow, while gripping onto my thigh. The stinging pain from the impact on my thigh and icy cold snow on my face, my beating heart slowed and the rush was over, we were defeated.
